"While the main argument for legalization in Washington is social justice, black residents don’t appear to be overwhelmingly convinced"
“Since when has the African-American community polled the lowest for a civil rights issue?”
The "WAR ON DRUGS" is just another whip. The same whip used to force blacks to accept chains. A whip used to compel policy changes and shift sentiment. Since the supposed demise of the DUTCH INDIA COMPANY, the desire has been to put illicit drug profits back in the hands of "legitimate" businessmen and governments. BLACKS know and understand that legalization will be further destruction of the race. Just as the disparity exists in enforcement and punishment, it will exist in negative effects of legalization and use. As from the beginning of our arrival, our destruction is used to compel our acceptance.
Better believe after BLACK folk, will come the rest of the poor. Remember, “You get what you pay for”. Now, they’re no longer trying to enslave one group of people with a particular drug, as in CHINA. They’ve established and increased the consumer base by attacking one drug after the other which was the incentive for other drugs to be strengthened and augmented. As the professional vernacular of the “rehab” business tells us, it’s a smorgasbord now – “your drug of choice”. Will all be able to afford what’s available? Will there be quality levels? Will this spur lesser quality, illegal drugs, as in the “rot gut” of alcohol? Or, in keeping with the real purpose of legalization, will they assure your dose?
